Ethical Birding Tours
We believe in ethical birding, wildlife watching, and photography. The welfare of birds, animals, and their natural habitats always comes first.
Our Ethical Code for Birding, Wildlife Watching & Photography:
-
-
-
The welfare of wildlife always takes priority.
-
We never modify or damage habitat to get a better view or photograph.
-
We never flush birds or animals to get a clearer look or image.
-
Playback calls are used responsibly — never at high volume or for extended periods.
-
When spotlighting, we use red-light torches to minimize disturbance. Low-beam white lights are fine on trails but are never directed at wildlife.
-
We stay on roads, tracks, and established trails whenever possible. If we must go off-trail, we take care to minimize habitat disturbance.
-
We maintain a respectful distance from known roosting and nesting sites.
-
We never break wildlife laws or ask others to do so in order to view or photograph animals.
-
-
Our goal is to ensure future generations can enjoy the wildlife we share with you today.
