We believe in ethical birding, wildlife watching, and photography. The welfare of birds, animals, and their natural habitats always comes first.

Our Ethical Code for Birding, Wildlife Watching & Photography:

• • • The welfare of wildlife always takes priority.

    • We never modify or damage habitat to get a better view or photograph.

    • We never flush birds or animals to get a clearer look or image.

    • Playback calls are used responsibly — never at high volume or for extended periods.

    • When spotlighting, we use red-light torches to minimize disturbance. Low-beam white lights are fine on trails but are never directed at wildlife.

    • We stay on roads, tracks, and established trails whenever possible. If we must go off-trail, we take care to minimize habitat disturbance.

    • We maintain a respectful distance from known roosting and nesting sites.

    • We never break wildlife laws or ask others to do so in order to view or photograph animals.
